Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
– Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is the only movie out this week. It’s the sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes, the reboot prequel to the original Planet of the Apes. Ten years after a “simian flu” wiped out most of humanity, a community of humans and a community of apes face misunderstandings and then begin a war that threatens them both. It looks to be a mix of an end of the world dystopia and a war dystopia.
