My Geek Confessions #15 – 06/22/2012

Welcome to our episode for June 22, 2012! Cori has added some really nerdy news and we clarify what’s going on with the FCC ruling with the Supreme Court, but amazingly we are a bit shorter this week then we have been the last couple (which may be good or bad). Be sure to subscribe to us in iTunes, and give us a review. Comment here to show us you care! And by all means, feel free to donate to us!

Cori’s link to Buffy characters and their My Little Pony equivalent.

Now for those of you are fans of My Little Pony, it was just announced that Tara Strong (the voice of Twilight Sparkle) will be a guest at Anime Vegas in November.

Our first video shows just how similar (and by similar we mean nearly exactly alike) the new Total Recall is to the original Total Recall.

The continuing adventures of showing us the realities of bad movies with trailers on how they really are. This time we have Avatar.Keep up the good work, Screen Junkies!

Bruce Campbell is going to be in the new Amazing Spider-man game, which means to my knowledge that he and Stan Lee are the only connections to the reboot of Spider-man that we have so far. Speaking of Stan Lee, not only is he going to be a playable character in the game but he’s actually voicing himself as well.

For all you Ninja Turtles fans, we had a pair of bits of good news. First is that the Michael Bay movie version has been scrapped. Second is that we finally get to see a trailer for the new Nickelodeon TV series.

One more video for Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, but it’s out now, and it looks fantastic. Some people haven’t liked that they can talk this time, but I think the game is much better for it!
