Welcome to our episode for August 24, 2012!
Krista and Cori are both with us as we discuss “Hairspray” and the Academy Awards, a very naked Prince Harry, and some very prominent deaths. And it wouldn’t be another week in Talk Nerdy to Me without more Batman parody videos.
Be sure to subscribe to us in iTunes, and give us a review. Comment here to show us you care! And by all means, feel free to donate to us!
This video is outside our usual fare, but was too funny or catchy to not include. It’s the latest in auto-tuned YouTube clips. About Five Guys hamburgers.
Here’s a Batman parody video that I wasn’t going to post but Krista suggested that it need to happen anyway. Here was have a Batman: The Animated Series and Pokemon mashup. I present Zubatman!
The guys at How It Should Have Ended have made parodies of lots of movies before but this time they bring up some really excellent points on possible solutions to some big problems with The Dark Knight Rises.
Have you ever wished for a mashup between Batman and Sesame Street and be honest, who hasn’t, but it never existed? Well now you finally get your wish. This may be the best explanation for Nolan’s weird voiced Batman ever.
Now this isn’t a parody. This is a real life event when Toronto Batman interrupted a car review website recording a video. Then they decide to keep rolling. Watch as Batman helps to review the Hyundai i30. Just remember his “PARENTS ARE DEAD!”
If you haven’t seen this video by now, I don’t know where you’ve been but the parody video of it doesn’t work without it so I present Gangnam Style! The most ridiculous music video ever.
That video, while Korean, sounds like he’s saying Gundam the entire time. Luckily, I wasn’t the only one on the internet to think so. So they made their own version of the video that replaces every head with Gundam heads. Unfortunately the full finished version was taken down but if you wanted to download the whole video you can by visiting their page and downloading the video.
