Welcome to our episode for November 16, 2012!
This week Krista and I cover Anime Vegas and it being a disappointment. You can see Krista’s blog all about it here. This week is a little slow, but we still cover the words of the year, the sexiest man alive (which we both disagree with), and Victoria Secret being rather odd. In TV news, we have more TV pickups and cancellations, as well as the internet fuel of Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe bathing together in a new British miniseries. Lastly in Talk Nerdy to Me, we have DC once again doing a poor PR stunt.

“My Geek Confessions – Watching Bad Movies, So You Don’t Have To!”
If this isn’t all over Tumblr by now, I’ll be really surprised. But here we have a new miniseries with Daniel Radcliffe being the younger version and Jon Hamm being the older version of the same doctor, and they still interact with each other. I think the biggest problem I find with the trailer is that they are both very different heights, even when the younger version should have stopped growing. My suspension of disbelief is gone!
Super Smash Bros. is probably one of the better known Nintendo games that combines multiple characters, and Sony just couldn’t let them pass that by completely. So they made PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale which I have to admit, according to this trailer looks pretty cool. This time most of the Playstation exclusive characters aren’t as iconic as Nintendos but they do have some great moves and looks like it’ll be fun to play.
Here we have the first trailer for the first Mortal Instruments movie. It’s based off a book that neither of us have read, but we’ve heard good things. I’m just really hoping this doesn’t end up as some sort of Twilight. But here’s the trailer anyway.
Lastly we have a new real trailer (instead of just a teaser) to Oz the Great and Powerful. First of all I like this one because it shows some of the others stars (So now I know who the female cast is. At least some of the them.) are and also more about what the plot is. I have to say that now I’m a lot more excited about the movie than I was before.
