Movies
It’s apparently Disney re-release day so I’m just going to list all of them.
The Rescuers: The Rescuers / The Rescuers Down Under, 35th Anniversary Edition
Pocahontas Two-Movie Special Edition
The Tigger Movie: Bounce-A-Rrrific Special Edition
Lady and the Tramp 2: Scamps Adventure
Bernie – I guess this film actually had a limited release even though I’ve never heard of it. Also it introduces a new word I haven’t heard before, Tragicomedy. It’s a silly movie based off a true one where a man confessed to killing an old lady that everyone hated and liked the killer so much that they had to try to get a change of venue so they could even have a trial. Stars Jack Black, Matthew McConaughey, and Shirley MacLaine. Rated PG-13.
The Dictator – As far as I can tell, this movie just added the word banned to their unrated stuff, nothing more than that. So if you want to watch a Sache Baron Cohen movie, good luck with this one. I guess this makes it SUPER R? Stars Sacha Baron Cohen, Anna Faris, Jason Mantzoukas, and Ben Kingsley. Unrated (technically).
Freelancers – If you’ve ever wanted to see a movie with 50 Cent in a lead role, you can see this movie. He’s a son of cop that’s killed, becomes a cop, and goes with rogue people to kill people. The rest of the cast is good, but I’m turned off by the presence of 50 Cent. Stars Robert De Niro, Forest Whitaker, 50 Cent, and Dana Delany. Rated R.
TV
The Closer: Season 7 – The last season of the successful TNT series. Not Rated.
NCIS: Season 9 – The CBS series that just keeps on ticking. The criminal investigative team for Navy continues to run into problems. Not Rated.
NCIS: Los Angeles: Season 3 – And for people on the West Coast, we have the next season of the spin-off for you too. Not Rated.
House: Season 8 – The last season for the very popular FOX medical drama. They decided to end it with a bang while it was still popular. Not Rated.
Revenge: Season 1 – The first season of the highly rated ABC series that oddly enough has a PG rating. I’m weirded out too. RATED PG.
Mike & Molly: Season 2 – Second season of the CBS comedy where Mike and Molly are trying to plan their wedding. Not Rated.
Perry Mason: Season 7, Vol. 1 – The next volume of the long running and loved courtroom drama. Not Rated.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Season 1, Vol. 1 – ORIGINAL Power Rangers guys. Relive your childhood with the original series. And even though it doesn’t seem like the it, all of the Power Rangers have been connected, and the current series even brought back some of the original actors. Not Rated.
Cartoon/Anime
The Adventures Of Tintin: Season 3 – The cartoon series from the early 90s that is probably better than the recent Computer Animated Movie. Not Rated.
Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation – The Tiny Toons movie from the mid 90s that Krista is sure to be happy about. I still to this day go “There’s a car, There’s a car, oh…Truck” occasionally while driving. Not Rated.
The Super Hero Squad Show: The Infinity Gauntlet Vol. 4 – This is a great silly series that has nearly all Marvel characters. I just wish they would do more season sets all at once instead of these small releases, so then no one hears about the series. If you like silly, dumb humor, this is great. With lots of great voice talent. Not Rated.
No. 6: The Complete Collection – Another surprise dub from Sentai Filmworks! After another great war, people live in only a few city states and Shion lets a man stay in his apartment for a night and makes everything in his life go wrong. They team up together to find out the truth of No. 6. Not Rated.
Shakugan no Shana: Season 2, Part 1 – A Funimation release about a girl who fights demons and a person who gives her power. Not Rated.
Shangri-La: Part 1 & Shangri-La: Part 2 – A Funimation series about a future that’s ruined by earthquakes and Global Warming. Japanese society has broken off into groups and a girl fights against everything. Not Rated.
