[amazon_link id=”B00CFA227C” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Jack the Giant Slayer (Blu-ray/DVD + UltraViolet Digital Copy Combo Pack)[/amazon_link]

[amazon_link id=”B00CFA227C” target=”_blank” ]Jack the Giant Slayer[/amazon_link] – A retelling of the Jack and the Beanstalk fairy tale. I think it straddles that fine line of being too silly and being too serious. I may be too nice to it since I like fairy tales, but also Nicholas Hoult, who we liked from Warm Bodies is the star of this one as well. Probably my pick of the week. Stars Nicholas Hoult, Eleanor Tomlinson, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, Bill Nighy, and Ewan McGregor. Rated PG-13.

[amazon_link id=”B00BN3EDRE” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Movie 43 (Blu-ray / DVD Combo)[/amazon_link]

[amazon_link id=”B00BN3EDRE” target=”_blank” ]Movie 43[/amazon_link] – This movie has been a long time in the making. It started in March 2010 but they would have to take several weeks off at a time in order to get actors and directors schedules to match up. This movie has 11 directors and 15 writers. The movie has different segments with 12 different storylines going on. (possibly concurrently) This also features a very very large ensemble cast, but it may not matter since there are so many storylines. I’m really wondering how this movie is getting a wide release. Stars Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Emma Stone, Chloë Grace Moretz, Gerard Butler, Elizabeth Banks, Kristen Bell, and Naomi Watts. Directed by Peter Farrelly, Elizabeth Banks, Steven Brill, Steve Carr, Rusty Cundieff, James Duffy, Griffin Dunne, Patrik Forsberg, James Gunn, Bob Odenkirk, Brett Ratner, and Jonathan van Tulleken. Rated R.

[amazon_link id=”B00BT7664M” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]21 & Over (Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack)[/amazon_link]

[amazon_link id=”B00BT7664M” target=”_blank” ]21 & Over[/amazon_link] – A straight-A Asian student is taken out by his friends for his 21st birthday and proceeds to get really drunk and have terrible things happen. Tries really hard to be funny, so far looks like its just another drunk movie. Stars Justin Chon, Miles Teller, Skylar Astin, and Sarah Wright. Rated R.

[amazon_link id=”B00AIBZL14″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]The Last Exorcism Part II [Blu-ray][/amazon_link]

[amazon_link id=”B00AIBZL14″ target=”_blank” ]The Last Exorcism Part II[/amazon_link] – Sequel to the first movie but not presented in the found footage type format of the first. Basically a continuing story of the aftermath of the first movie, especially when things weren’t all the way resolved. Stars Ashley Bell, Julia Garner, Spencer Treat Clark, Muse Watson, and Louis Herthum. Rated PG-13.

[amazon_link id=”B00AZMFO9U” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Quartet [Blu-ray][/amazon_link]

[amazon_link id=”B00AZMFO9U” target=”_blank” ]Quartet[/amazon_link] – This is Dustin Hoffman’s directorial debut and interestingly enough he’s not even in the movie. It’s full of British stars and is based off of a 1999 play. In a retirement home for musicians, opera singers are preparing for a yearly concert when of the singer’s ex-wife moves into the community and brings back hurt feelings and misunderstandings. Stars Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon, Billy Connolly, Tom Courtenay, and Pauline Collins. Rated PG-13.

[amazon_link id=”B00BR1ZFC4″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]The Ghastly Love of Johnny X[/amazon_link]

[amazon_link id=”B00BR1ZFC4″ target=”_blank” ]The Ghastly Love of Johnny X[/amazon_link] – I only include this movie because it’s made frequent appearances at the bottom of the box office list. It’s now finally out for you to enjoy. It seems to be a parody of old style B-movies. Not Rated.

Not Rated.

[amazon_link id=”B008NEMQB6″ target=”_blank” ]Wilfred: Season Two[/amazon_link] – This is actually a remake of an Australian show  for FX staring Elijah Wood and his dog that everyone else sees as a normal dog. This has been a popular comedy for the network and the third season cuts it close by premiering this week but a couple days after the release of the set. Not Rated.

Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated – Spooky Stampede – The next volume set of the admittedly brilliant Scooby-Doo series that has been on Cartoon Network. Note to Cartoon Network: This is how you reboot a series. Just give it more airtime (Which can be said about all the things you reboot…). Not Rated.

[amazon_link id=”B00C4XV58W” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness - Good Croc, Bad Croc[/amazon_link]

Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness – Good Croc, Bad Croc – The next set of the Kung Fu Panda cartoon that has been airing on Nickelodeon is now out for your viewing pleasure. Not Rated.

SlugTerra: Slugs Unleashed – This is the second DVD set of the Canadian production cartoon that has been airing on Disney XD. A boy from the surface is trying to follow his dad’s legacy and help to police the underground world and protect it from evil. Using slugs. In guns. Think of it like Pokemon with slugs that have special powers that you shoot from guns. Not Rated.

[amazon_link id=”B00BBAQD8G” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Superman: Unbound [Blu-ray][/amazon_link]

Superman: Unbound – This is the newest DC animated film (And still will probably be better than the Man of Steel movie…) This is based off a 2008 miniseries where Brainiac attacks Superman and shrinks down the last remaining Kryptonian city of Kandor. Superman is trying to save it and save the world and Metropolis from the same fate. Rated PG-13.

[amazon_link id=”B00BKBCDB2″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Kill Me Baby[/amazon_link]

Kill Me Baby – A surprise dub from Sentai Filmworks. (I hope this is a sign of more things to come. This is a comedy series about a kind of slow girl and her assassin best friend while in school and usually what goes wrong does go wrong along with lots of personal injuries. Not Rated.
